Sex ads in the "front yard" of the bishop
What I have experienced today is either a very clever (not to be surpassed in audacity Area) Werbezug or just a chance to skew laugh. I would like to know what are the representatives of the Catholic Church in Osnabrück to this "sex scandal" ...
Last night I was invited to the birthday party of a friend in the old town of Osnabrück. Close to him, there is a parking lot, where I can generally leave my car at the weekend, even overnight, but should I even drink a beer anymore. Just as yesterday.
When I got to pick up my morning companions, offers me an initially annoying Sight. On my windshield glued a colorful flyer. Moreover, since it rains, the paper stuck firmly to the plate, leaving unsightly scars that can be difficult to remove. I look around at the postcard-sized advertising message and I am flabbergasted. This is an advertisement for a local brothel . "Now we need even more relaxing Puffs with such flyers. The business seems to run really bad," I think me and put me into the car.
Before I start the engine, I find it the scales from your eyes! I look around. The large parking lot is filled to the rafters. I have to estimate now. Maybe 200 cars, maybe more. On most discs of paper covered with the slogan "A piece of Osnabrück history for over 120 years." The authors continue to advertise with "international beauty, offering a sexy top service and pamper you from head to toe," a dominatrix service and much more. If nothing special!
Now it comes: I find myself in the parking lot of the Osnabrück Cathedral . Obviously, a lot of car owners (with their families) in the adjacent cathedral. All around me are almost exclusively religious buildings. Residences of some of the clergy up to the Episcopal Vicar General. Now I wonder: Have made the brothel owner with the intention of trouble to make it on Sunday at the Great Cathedral free advertising for their "establishment" and lure the church goers in their "club". Or is the race for the Catholic potential customers - with the note on the flyer noted, "Discrete parking behind our building!" - Pure coincidence.
may Either way it is this action, probably the most unusual advertising campaign around the church area - have done - practically in the front garden of the bishop. And now should have come to think of the idea and I was in any way with the brothel owners in business contact (and do here deliberately surreptitious for them), I have to disappoint him. And even if it did, I would not admit it here safely. ;-)
wish I therefore all affected Osnabrück driving sufficient staying power, this time not to be annoyed by the flyer under her windshield wiper, but reflect with a smile on whether such advertising message was perhaps not thrown in the nearby post office boxes.
That was the word on Sunday!
Kind regards, Daniel
