Orange A Good Bathroom Color?

SharePoint 2010 - SharePoint 2010 Training Kit

With new technologies and products is always the same question: How
I would like to learn the skills?

The methods are different and there is no recipe that proved successful for all. Personally, I am become palatable to the first steps on the training kit from Channel9, which each contain presentations, videos, labs, and of course a lot of source code. In the case of SharePoint 2010 training kit provides a good overview for the developer. Sure, you scratch in the various areas only at the surface, but for my opinion, are these kits too. In reading through the presentations and working through the labs they quickly learn what's new for the work in practice will be relevant. In these areas, you can go through independent research or by other means (Books, etc.) to deepen.

Recommended in connection with SharePoint 2010 is also the training kit for Visual Studio 2010 &. NET 4.0.

Have fun!

Vancouver Gay District

- Assemblies in my package

to SharePoint 2007 hours, in the year last week, I had all desired assemblies in my deployment project reference so that they are copied from the WSPBuilder Extensions when creating the WSP Solution. Or the other way, to build each project a After a build event to copy the compiled assembly to the deployment project - in any case it is either difficult or unpleasant.

dare I am currently taking my first steps with SharePoint 2010 in conjunction with Visual Studio 2010 (the possibilities with SharePoint Designer 2010, Visio 2010, a few ranks are further back on my todo list) and can already say that the developer about the developer some works can be removed. Deployment for a decent one does not need 3rd party tools, that's all right now with Visual Studio.

To return to the title of this paper - also for the integration of assemblies in a WSP Solution, Microsoft has something about what evidence the following screenshots:

  • overview of my dummy Solution

  • (note the "Advanced" Tab below) Package Designer

  • Assembly to add to the package ( Do not forget the assembly to sign for the GAC with a "strong assembly name")

  • See, the assemblies appear in fact after the deployment to the GAC on (who knew?)

The other options in the Package designers under the tab "Advanced" I have not looked closely, but certainly include a few useful functions.

Can I Take Nyquil With Mucinex-d

SharePoint 2007 - Logs also clearly

For nearly a year I am working now with the development around SharePoint. At first it was an incredibly steep learning curve with a lot of motivation dampers, but now I have an overview and it is fun to create applications that build on the SharePoint platform, or push them.

For daily routine includes working with the SharePoint log files, which sometimes describe an error that appears on the surface but more specific. The only thing that bothers me about the logs is the lack of overview. It is really müsahm to dig through the log and identify important messages at first glance. I have recently been made by my colleague (Thanks to this point) to a simple trick carefully:

  • system log file with Excel
  • filter enable

  • log after desired filter information
